Prize
Prize draw with 10 winners chosen. The prize is a three-month car subscription from Astara Move Switzerland AG, Richtiplatz 5, CH-8304 Wallisellen (“Astara”) in Switzerland (excluding fuel). The subscription is subject to the standard commercial terms and conditions defined by Astara for this product (e.g. price, booking process, availability, etc.). No deviating terms and conditions apply. The cars available on this subscription are those from the brands used by Astara Move Switzerland AG.
Organiser
The prize draw is organised by Astara Move Switzerland AG, Richtiplatz 5, CH-8304 Wallisellen (“Astara”). The prize draw is not affiliated with Facebook, LinkedIn or Instagram and is in no way supported or organised by them. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the prize draw must be sent exclusively to Astara Move Switzerland AG and not to any other parties.
Participants and participation requirements
Any persons over the age of 18 who live in Switzerland or the Principality of Liechtenstein are eligible to take part. Participants must hold a valid Swiss category B driving licence. The prize draw opens on Wednesday 4 April 2024 and closes on 28.07.2024. The winners (m/f) will be drawn on c.
By entering the prize draw, participants accept the conditions of participation and agree to provide their e-mail address. The e-mail address will be used to contact the winners. No correspondence will be entered into with regard to the competition.
The winners of the prize draw shall authorise Astara and agents acting on its behalf (e.g. photographers) to take photographs of them and to use these images without paying any compensation and for an unlimited period of time, particularly in publications by Astara Move (in print form and online). Astara is also entitled to name the winners in a report or multiple reports and in publications (print and online), in which in winners’ photographs will be published along with their first names and where they live.
By entering the prize draw, participants also agree to Astara using their personal data for e-mail and telephone marketing and postal advertising. Participants check a separate box when submitting their details to confirm their consent.
Participants may notify Astara at any time if they do not wish their data to be processed and disclosed for these purposes. Personal data will not be disclosed to any third parties, apart from those persons involved in carrying out the prize draw and even then only to the extent permitted by the participant concerned (according to the boxes checked when submitting their details).
The data will only be used for further communication purposes of the participant has selected the corresponding box authorising this in the form.
Participation in the prize draw is free of charge and is not dependent on the purchase of goods or services.
Astara Move Switzerland AG reserves the right to exclude participants from taking part in the prize draw if they provide false information or attempt to rig the competition. Participants can also be subsequently excluded and prizes may be revoked. All employees of Astara Move Switzerland AG und its brands, their relatives and business partners of Astara Move Switzerland AG are excluded from taking part.
Carrying out the prize draw and drawing the winners
Astara Move Switzerland AG is responsible for carrying out the prize draw. Ten winners will be drawn by Astara Move Switzerland AG from the participants who have entered. The winners will receive a subscription as described in the first section of the conditions of participation.
The winners will be notified by e-mail once the draw has taken place. If a winner fails to confirm acceptance of their prize within 24 hours of receiving notification, a new winner will be chosen.
Before Astara can hand over the prize to the winners, the winners must send Astara confirmation of their place of residence, which they must obtain from the relevant official body at their own expense. The winners cannot receive their prize until they have provided confirmation of their place of residence. Each winner is obliged to declare the prize in their personal tax return.
No correspondence will be entered into with regard to the prize draw and the organiser’s decision is final. Each winner will be notified personally. No cash prizes will be awarded and prizes may not be exchanged. Each prize is awarded to a particular individual and is non-transferable.
Modifying the prize draw or closing it early
Astara Move Switzerland AG reserves the right to modify the prize draw or close it early at any time without prior notice, notification or justification and with no consequences in terms of liability. This shall not give rise to any claims on the part of participants. External circumstances and constraints in particular may prompt Astara Move Switzerland AG to exercise this right. Such external circumstances and constraints primarily include technical problems, legislative changes, government measures, urgent actions taken by third parties that are beyond Astara’s control and cases of force majeure (e.g. unrest, war, disasters, diseases, pandemics, etc.).
Other
To the extent permitted by law, Astara Move Switzerland AG accepts no liability or responsibility in connection with this prize draw and its organisation or with redeeming the prize. In particular, Astara Move Switzerland AG is not liable for any technical failures affecting the website that are caused by network server or hardware errors, viruses, bugs, programming errors or any other transmission errors beyond its control.
These conditions of participation and the entire legal relationship between participants and Astara Move Switzerland AG are governed exclusively by Swiss law. Should individual provisions of the conditions of participation be deemed or become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining conditions of participation.
